Design Process

When I first arrived to Trek Bicycle Corporate, there was no formal process in the digital space for UX/UI designers. This was very important for a successful working relationship with the developers, engineers, BAs, etc. Throughout my time at Trek I have implemented a formal process with room for evolvement.

Introducing a Formal Process to Trek.

Process Summary

Treks process is not only for the designers, it is designed to fit within the overall project process at Trek. There are many roles and other processes that ours had to align with. Along with people are other touch points that would be affected as well such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

As a part of the process, it was key to have a Jira board to align with the development process. This helped track our work form a personal and team level, as well as from a project level.
